In this 2 hour class, students will learn all the basic steps to sewing by machine, including how to set up their machine, adjust the settings, and sew straight lines. Students will sew a simple envelope-style pillow cover. 

Required Materials:
3/4 yd woven fabric, light to mid weight, prewashed
coordinating thread
**14"x14" pillow form is included in the cost of the class

Students are also welcome to bring cherished fabric scraps to incorporate into this intuitive patchwork exercise. 

Students are encouraged to bring their own working machines to the workshop. 

Freeman's Creative provides: Coordinating Thread and interfacing.  All students will receive 10% discount on materials purchased in the shop. Students can select to Add-On a machine rental for $7, or a Patchwork Fabric kit for $25 instead of bringing their own fabric.
