Gingham Cross Stitch aka Chicken scratch embroidery, also known as Amish embroidery or Depression lace, is a simple embroidery technique done on gingham fabric. Stitch a sample of Gingham Cross Stitch and learn the basics of the vintage technique that uses a few basic stitches like the double cross stitch, running stitch, and weaving stitch to create a lacy or floral design.
